You can try one of America’s best and most unique pizzas at Flo & Santos, a South Loop pizza joint in Chicago.

I discovered Marco’s Italian Beef Pizza while on one of Jon Porter’s amazing Chicago Pizza Tours.  If you love Portillo’s Italian Beef Sandwich, you need to add this one to your list.

Marco’s Italian Beef Pizza comes tavern style (thin crust, square cut and cheese to the edges) and stacked with shaved beef, giardiniera, caramelized onions and fire roasted tomatoes.  It’s definitely worth a special trip!

If you’re visiting Soldier Field or the Field Museum, it’s a short one mile walk away.
